What we know
Coffee Dealer went live on 20 October with the highest headline return of the four Hacksaw titles added here today: 96.29%, against 96.27%, 96.19% and a flat 96% for the others. A difference that size is noise for a player. What is not noise is that all four publish a full ladder while most of the studios they compete with publish one figure.
The mechanic is a wild reel with additive multipliers. Coffee cup symbols expand into wild reels when they form part of a win, each carrying a multiplier of up to 10x, and when several wild reels appear in the same win their multipliers are added before being applied rather than multiplied together. Added, not multiplied: that is the difference between a 30x win and a 1,000x one, and it is why a game rated four of five for variance caps out at 10,000x.
Three or four free spins symbols open one of three bonus games, one of which guarantees coffee cups on activated reels across eight spins.
The full ladder: 96.29%, 94.38%, 92.25%, 86.33%.
Blank fields: reel layout, payout frequency, stake limits, purchase prices. A studio that will not say how many reels its game has is an oddity in a catalogue where nearly everyone else does.
