What we know
Two and a half thousand times bet is a small number for Hacksaw, and that is the most informative thing about Le Sortudo. Within a fortnight of this one the studio shipped its 50,000x Zeus rework plus a 10,000x single-line machine; a 2,500x cap on a 3/5 volatility rating puts it at the opposite end of its own catalogue.
Hacksaw's page lists four RTP versions: 96.27%, 94.29%, 92.23% and 86.28%. That spread is worth more attention than the ceiling. A player on the 86.28% build is losing roughly ten percentage points of return against the headline figure, for the same game and the same screen — and operators choose which build to run.
The studio's reputation was built on games that hurt: long dry stretches broken by a single enormous hit. This is the other product, the one for a player who wants a session rather than a lottery ticket, and Hacksaw has been quietly building more of them.
