What we know
Released on 30 July, this is an "Extreme" treatment of Moon Princess, the 2017 grid game that became Play'n GO's longest-running series. Love, Star and Storm still take turns controlling the board.
The comparison with the original is the whole story, and the studio's own figures make it cleanly. Moon Princess capped at 5,000x and carried a variance rating of 6 out of 10, which Play'n GO calls Medium. This one caps at 50,000x and rates 10 out of 10, the studio's ceiling, labelled Very High. Ten times the prize and the maximum variance the studio will admit to: the name is not marketing, it is a description of what changed.
We would file the pair as separate games, not as one game in two states. Someone who liked the original for its steady cluster rhythm is being sold something else entirely.
The usual five-step ladder applies - 96.2%, 94.2%, 91.2%, 87.2%, 84.2% - against 96.5% at the top of the 2017 game's own ladder. Stakes run 0.10 to 100. Feature names and grid dimensions are not published.
