What we know

The notable thing about the Remastered edition is what NetEnt left alone. Return, ceiling and hit rate match the 2011 original to the second decimal: 96.28%, 7,100x, 34.00%. This is a visual and feature rebuild sitting on untouched maths, and the studio is unusually straightforward about it by publishing the same three numbers twice rather than quietly restating them. What is new is the Buy Feature, which the original could not have carried, and a reworked bonus round: three scatters award ten or more free spins, and collected keys unlock Stacked Money Bags, Golden Hens and Expanding Harps in turn. Walking Wilds still drive the respins. The maximum bet falls from 100 to 60 euro, the only specification that moved at all. Our reading is that this makes the remaster the version to play and the original the version to study - there is no mathematical argument for the older build and one clear argument against it. As with the original, NetEnt gives one return figure, no ladder of reduced builds, and no volatility rating.
