Mechanics

What we know

Splitting symbols — one icon becoming two, then four, widening the ways count as it goes — is a mechanic Nolimit City turned into a signature with xSplit and Big Time Gaming popularised through Megaways derivatives. A Pragmatic Play game called Forever Split is almost certainly working that seam, and that is worth noting because Pragmatic has historically followed mechanics rather than invented them.

Almost certainly, because the studio has confirmed nothing. A 1 October date on release calendars is all that exists: no return percentage, no ceiling, no variance band, no grid, no feature list, and no review. Pragmatic ships four to six titles a month and rarely trails individual games, so the record may well stay this thin until the game turns up in a lobby.

That release cadence is the studio's real subject. Its reach into casino lobbies exceeds every rival's, and that distribution does the work its marketing does not — but it also means a title like this arrives carrying nothing but a name and a date. Nobody is waiting for Forever Split the way they are waiting for Money Train 5.

Everything rests on whether the split mechanic is executed with any distinction, and that cannot be assessed yet.
