What we know
Extra Chilli is one of the games that turned Megaways from a gimmick into a licensing business. Six reels, a seventh symbol position on the top row, and up to 117,649 ways that redraw on every cascade. The Free Spins Gamble is the part people remember: rather than take eight spins you can gamble them upward, one flip at a time, and walk away with none. A 37.52% hit rate is high even by Megaways standards. Our numbers need a caveat here. Big Time Gaming's own game page and Playin - which is also the studio's platform - disagree about the ceiling. The studio site shows 16,877x, Playin shows 24,236x, and neither explains the gap, so we have left max win empty rather than pick a side. On return the two are closer but still not the same: BTG publishes ranges of 96.15-96.41%, or 96.26-96.82% with Feature Drop, while Playin gives a flat 96.63%. That figure sits inside the Feature Drop range and outside the base one, which is the likeliest reading - but it is our inference, not something either source states.
