Nolimit City has a documented obsession with the justice system. San Quentin, its sequel Death Row, Karen Maneater and the Tombstone line all mine crime, punishment and institutional cruelty for their imagery, and the studio's willingness to make players uncomfortable is a large part of why its games get talked about. Criminal Record reads as another entry in that seam.
Reads as, because nothing is confirmed — including when it arrives. One calendar listed 6 August, another gives 31 October, and Bigwinboard states the game is still in development with no disclosed date. Nolimit City has no page for it: the expected address returns a 404. Given that the studio normally publishes a game page one to three weeks ahead of launch, the August date could not survive that absence, and the later date is used here.
