Mechanics
- Action Boost jackpot mechanic
What we know
Games Global does not develop most of what it publishes. The company bought Microgaming's content portfolio and distribution business in 2022 and now runs a pipeline of more than twenty titles a month across partner studios — Foxium, Fortune Factory, All For One, SpinPlay and others. Amber Island 2 comes from SpinPlay and carries the Action Boost jackpot mechanic that Games Global shares across studios.
That shared-mechanic model is the whole strategy and its main weakness. Action Boost, Area Link and Power Combo appear across unrelated themes, which gives operators a familiar product to slot into a lobby and gives players very little reason to seek out one title over another. A sequel in that structure is a reskin with a number after it unless something changes underneath.
Nothing is confirmed for this one. The return percentage is unknown, as are the top prize, the variance band and the reel structure, and beyond the mechanic's name there is no feature detail at all. Games Global publishes monthly roadmaps rather than per-game spec sheets, and no roadmap covering August 2026 has surfaced.
The audience for Action Boost titles is the jackpot player browsing a lobby, not the person comparing base-game maths — which is why the missing figures may never appear.
